Exhibiting at NCSS "Tennessee Valley"

Hello Tennessee Valley Exhibitors,

 

Here is important information for you as you prepare for the National Council for the Social Studies conference in Nashville, TN (Dec. 1-3, 2023)

 

  • What time will the exhibit hall be open?

    • Friday: 9am – 5pm

    • Saturday: 8am-4pm

 

  • When can I access the exhibit hall to begin setting up?

    • The exhibit hall will be open to exhibitors (as indicated by their badge) beginning on Thursday from 8am – 6pm. It will also open up on Friday at 7am.

 

 

  • How will I get my exhibitor name badge?

    • Each person associated with an exhibitor, including the “extra workers”, should receive an email from the registration company. In that email there will be a unique bar or QR code that you will scan at kiosks in the Music City Center. This will work similar to airport kiosks.

    • Once you scan it, it will print your name badge, which will indicate to the Music City Center workers that you are an exhibitor.

 

  • Where will the registration kiosks be located?

    • According to the NCSS program, the registration area will be located in Grand Lobby B

 

  • What size are the tables?

    • These are standard 8’ rectangle tables. Plus, there will be two chairs.

    • You are responsible for all decorative and marketing materials (e.g., tablecloths, signs, et cetera)

    • IF YOU WANT OR NEED ELECTRICITY. YOU MUST PAY FOR THAT SEPARATELY.

 

  • Do I have to staff my table the entire time?​​

    • No. we understand you may need to use the restroom, eat lunch, or present. It is recommended you have a sign indicating you are away and that it is okay for people to take your promotional items. You can even have a way to collect contact information.

 

  • How can I access the program?
