Off-Site Pre-Conference Clinic:  8:30am - 3:30pm (EST)

National Medal of Honor Heritage Center Pre-Conference Clinic
​
​
This combined elementary and secondary pre-conference clinic will include an overview of the Heritage Center’s programs and opportunities for both teachers and students, a gallery tour, and will highlight free lesson activities aligned to TN state standards, which have been crafted by MOHHC Teacher Fellows. Teacher Fellows will facilitate multiple sessions centered on various topics ranging from the Civil War Era to present day. These sessions will uniquely weave in the stories of Medal of Honor Recipients and the character values associated with the Medal—courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, patriotism, and citizenship.
